Five bodies were found dead at an Australian suburban home and three of them were pre-school girls.
Three bodies of preschool girls were found amongst the five bodies at an Australian suburban home. The mass killing which came as a huge shock to the country was confirmed by the authorities on Monday.
According to investigators, the remains of the toddlers and those of their mother and grandmother was found by the police at a detached family home, near the south western city of Perth. The bodies were found after a young man in his 20s, visited the regional police station earlier, on Sunday.
"Five people killed were twin two-year-old girls, a three and a half-year-old girl, their mother and grandmother", Western Australia police said, on Monday.
It was also reported that, "The man currently assisting police remains in custody, no charges have been laid at this time."
There details about when, how they were killed or the family's relationship with the man has not been revealed.
