The police in Lagos state have captured a 29-year-old class instructor, Wasiu Kabiru, for supposedly defiling a 17-year-old young person at the Down Syndrome Foundation, Surulere, where he was a studying.
Describing what had unfolded, the casualty said:
"At some point, I was inside the can when Brother Kabiru came to meet me and he utilized his eyes to instruct me to stay silent. He removed his shirt and pants and removed my garments and did it inside the school and the second one was in the male hostel."
Kabiru was as of late charged under the steady gaze of an Ogba Magistrates' Court on two counts of co.
The charges against him read
"That you, Wasiu Kabiru, around June and August 2018, being a class educator at Down Syndrome Foundation on Adegoke Street, Masha Road, Surulere, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did unlawfully had sexual relations with the victim, in this manner carrying out an offense culpable under Section 216 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State Nigeria 2015."
Kabiru argued not liable to the charge. The court suspended the case till October 22nd and requested he be remanded in police guardianship.
