The police arrested two men in connection with the shooting outside Meek Mill's concert in 2016.
Jaquan Graves and Travis Ward were killed and two others injured in the shooting which happened in the garage of the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Connecticut shortly after Meek Mill's show on 30th December 2016.
Police officials reported that Tivon Edwards, 33, and Kyle Hampton, 23, had been arrested. Reports stated that Edwards and Hampton have been charged with first-degree manslaughter with a firearm and illegal possession of a pistol.
One of the culprits, Hampton, was also charged with tampering with evidence, while Edwards, with a count of possession of a firearm. The police reported that the shooting doesn't appear to be directly related to the rapper. The family of Travis Wards are suing Meek Mill, claiming that his lyrics glorify violence and attracted thugs to the concert.
They filed the lawsuit against the owners of the theater and Meek Mill, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, in May, insisting that they should have provided better security.
