The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has visited the scene of the tragic accident that happened along the Otedola axis of Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
Ambode wrote, 'very sad day. The loss of lives in an accident like today is very painful. My prayers are with the everyone affected by this tragedy'.
The incident, which occurred at about 5pm, left at least 50 vehicles burnt while some lives were lost. Read here and here
