A newly installed pedestrian bridge collapsed at the Florida International University in Tamiami Trail, Maimi on Thursday.
The $14million and 174-foot 'instant bridge' which was built to provide pedestrian access from FIU’s main campus to an area that houses a number of student residences, was not due to open to the public until 2019.
Now a video from the scene has been released seconds before it collapsed and fell down on traffic, killing six people.
Here are also photos of the six victims.
