Veteran actor, Scott Wilson has kicked died at the age of 76 on Saturday 6th October, 2018 after a long fight with cancer.
His demise was reported Saturday, on The Walking Dead official Twitter account.
Wilson played country agriculturist Hershel Greene on the series. He appeared on "The Walking Dead" during its second, third and fourth seasons. His character helped the resistance headed by Andrew Lincoln in engaging the Tv show's 'walkers'. The character lost a leg in season three and was killed in season four.
News of Wilson's demise came soon after it was declared at "The Walking Dead" board at New York Comic Con that the Wilson would be among past cast individuals that will still appear in the AMC show's ninth season, which debuts on Sunday. Wilson had officially taped his scenes.
Wilson is survived by wife, Heavenly, an artist and lawyer. No burial plans has been announced yet.
