Zinedine Zidane hinted that he will resume work again, after rumours spread that he might replace Manchester's Jose Mourinho if the Portuguese coach is sacked by Manchester United.
While speaking with Spanish broadcaster TVE, he said that he will be back in the game very shortly.
In Zinedine's words: "Yes, surely. Soon I will return to training because it is what I like and is what I have done all my life."
His speculations began after a poor start to the season which has made Mourinho's team lose two of their first four games.
According to The Mirror, Zidane was already getting ready for life in the Old Trafford hot-seat, by compiling a list of transfer targets. The former France midfielder resigned as the Real Madrid coach after helping them win their third Championship league trophy, in May.
Rumour has it that Thiago Alcantara, Edinson Cavani, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez are in the list of names that Zinedine would like to join him in Manchester United, if he becomes Mourinho's successor.
