Reports roaming the nation is that the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Forte Oil, Femi Otedola, is set to run for the governorship seat of Lagos State under the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
In an exclusive report by Dele Momodu, the oil magnate, may pick the PDP ticket any moment from now.
This is what Dele Momodu tweeted:
'Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He's accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper'
According to reports, Otedola has not shown interest to run for the governorship office initially, because he would not want to challenge his friend and brother, Ambode, may have changed his mind following the crisis of the emergence of Akinwunmi Ambode, as APC candidate.
Ambode is currently being dragged by a group loyal to Asiwaju Tinubu, a APC national leader, saying that he must be dethroned and will be replaced by Babajide Sanwoolu, a former commissioner in the state.
