According to a timetable released on July 23rd,by the party's National Working Committee (NWC), PDP's presidential candidate will be revealed on October 6th.
In a statement released on the same day, it said that according to the directive INEC, that all political parties' primaries and resolutions of the same must begin on August 17th, 2018, and end on October 7th, 2018. PDP will have its convention on October 5th and 6th, where its Presidential candidate will be elected.
The party also revealed that it will conduct its governorship primaries on September 28th, while appeals against primaries will hold on Sunday, September 30.
They fixed September 23rd for the Senatorial primaries while appeals emanating from the primaries will be heard on September 25th while the House of Representatives candidates of the party will emerge at its primaries scheduled to hold on September 19th and appeals by aggrieved aspirants will be heard on September 21st, by the appeal committee.
The State House of Assembly candidates will be revealed on September 15th, while the electoral panel will sit on disputed cases on September 17th.
