The All Progressive Congress (APC) has currently lost 37 members of the House of Representatives belonging to the party, to the opposition party, The People's Democratic Party and African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Out of the 37 House of Rep members who left APC, 33 members decamped to PDP while the remaining 4 moved to ADC. The names of the lawmakers who decamped is yet to be made public.
According to reports, members of the House of Representatives were collating a list of members that will possibly decamp from APC.
Abdulsamad Dasuki, Ali Madaki and Razak Atunwa who were all elected under APC are reportedly spearheading the move.
Sources who are among the defecting lawmakers revealed that there are about 100 names on the list. The have not been independently confirmed.
Nigeria's Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, was expected to make the announcement before the end of Tuesday's Plenary.
